The Westin Columbus

The Westin Columbus is an equisite hotel with the finest of architectural details. From its beautiful stained-glass windows, marble flooring, and crystal chandeliers, you know you are surrounded by luxury.

I attended the grand re-opening in December of 2008 after the multi-millon dollar renovation by Westin. I was impressed with the restoration. They kept the "originality" of the days when it was known as "The Great Southern Hotel" while adding the modern amenities that brings it up to the "Westin" standards.

The renovation also included updates in the guest rooms. Some of those features are leather headboards, wireless high speed internet, flat panel LCD TV's, and the "Westin Heavenly Bed and Bath". With 187 guestrooms you'll find the rooms are featured in 58 different styles with new furnishings, window treatments, carpet, and decor.

Presidential Suite

The location is perfect as well and close to many area attractions such as COSI, Columbus Zoo, Zoombezi Bay Waterpark, Franklin Park Conservatory, and much more.

The amenities are too numberous to list, the Westin definitely makes this your "home away from home".

Dining is accessible right in the hotel. The High Street Grill features breakfast from 6AM to 11AM Monday through Friday and 7AM to Noon Saturday and Sunday; Lunch is served from 11AM to 2PM Monday through Friday, and Noon to 2PM Saturday and Sunday; Dinner is served from 5PM to 9PM daily and it's closed on Sunday.

High Street Grill

The "Thurber's Bar" serves Monday - Thursday from 2PM to 1AM; Friday and Saturday from 2PM to 2AM; and Sunday from 2PM to 12AM. Your favorite beverages, cocktails, and Martini's along with appetizers and light dining selections are available.

Weddings are stunning at the Westin. As the bride and groom you'll receive everything you need when you hold your event here. The features include:
