Riverfront Art Festival

The Riverfront Art Festival features a full entertainment schedule, including WaterFire on the Mile and other local favorites, and we expect a substantial increase in publicity and community support. We are seeking up to 150 high caliber artists for this event.

Dates for 2009: Friday, September 19 from 5PM to 9PM, Saturday, September 20 from Noon to 9PM, and Sunday, September 21 from Noon to 5PM
New Location: Genoa Park (Behind COSI), Downtown Columbus Riverfront

Founded by Jay Snyder, By Hand Events is marketed and managed towards the artists and their creative works. Mr. Snyder was formerly the Fair Director for Ohio Designer Craftsmen.

By Hand is an excellent craft and art organization that works with national craftsmen and artists to promote exclusive works and to support American working artists.

In 2008 there were approximately 130 artists and craftsmen at the Festival. This year, By Hands Events is shooting for 150 Craftsmen and Artists!

This event features unique, one of a kind, fine arts and crafts by the artist who created it. You'll find beautiful paintings, jewelry, sculptures and much more.

This year look for a full entertainment schedule, including the 2008 finale of the incredible WaterFire on the Mile!
