The Ohio State Fair Rocks!

The Ohio State Fair will kick off on July 28, 2010 with a full lineup of projects, entertainment and fun for everyone.



Fairgrounds

Date: July 28 - August 8, 2010
Location: Columbus, Ohio Fairgrounds, also known as the Ohio Exposition Center

Hours of Operation
Admission gates – 9 am – 10 pm, except August 8 until 8 pm

Gate Admission Prices:

  • Adults (ages 13-59) $10
  • Youth (ages 5-12) $8
  • Senior (ages 60+) $8
  • Children (under five) Free

Discounts on Admissions and Ride Wristbands
Save on gate admission prices with $6 tickets available through August 8 at Kroger, participating AAA locations with AAA membership and Ticketmaster outlets. Purchase ride-all-day wristband vouchers (to be redeemed at the Fair for a wristband) for only $19 at Ticketmaster outlets through July 27 only.

Rides
$1 coupons. Most kiddie rides require one coupon; super kiddie and spectacular rides require two coupons; super spectacular rides require three coupons. Special ride-all-day wristbands are available for $22.

Parking
$5 per vehicle. Easy access to AAA Parking Lots from I-71 at the 17th Avenue exit and the Hudson Street exit at Silver Drive. Handicapped parking available. Ride the complimentary shuttle to and from the main entrance gate and your vehicle.

Stroller, Wagon, Wheelchair and Locker Rentals
Available only at the Cardinal and OHIO Gates. Stroller: $9/day; wagon: $13/day; manual wheelchair: $15/day; electric cart: $45/day, $30 after 5 pm; lockers: $1/day. Supplies are limited and available for rent on a first-come, first-serve basis.

One of the great things about the Ohio State Fair is the committment towards family, 4H projects, our youth, agriculture and crafts.

The entertainment each year is awesome as well. This year the lineup so far includes a little bit of country, contemporary Christian, R&B, classic rock and more.

The midway is always a blast and the rides are great! I'm still a kid at heart and can't pass up the rides. You'll also find all the great food there, carmel apples, elephant ears, corndogs and brats.

The days will also be full for the 4H groups and others entered into competitions.

Driving Directions

Located in Columbus, just north of downtown on 17th Avenue off I-71.

From the North
Take I-71 South to 17th Avenue/Exit 111. Signs and parking attendants will direct guests to the proper parking areas.

From the South
Take I-71 North to 17th Avenue/Exit 111. Signs and parking attendants will direct guests to the proper parking areas.

From the West
Take I-70 East to I-71 North. Take I-71 North to 17th Avenue/Exit 111. Signs and parking attendants will direct guests to the proper parking areas.

From the East
Take I-70 West to I-71 North. Take I-71 North to 17th Avenue/Exit 111. Signs and parking attendants will direct guests to the proper parking areas.
