Ohio Ski Resorts Near ColumbusThere are several Ohio Ski Resorts near Columbus, Ohio. If you enjoy skiing, snowboarding, and tubing, you'll really enjoy these. Contrary to what some may think, Ohio is not totally flat (even though flying over the state, it may appear that way from the air). There are several beautiful areas of rolling hills with long slopes for snowboarding, tubing, and skiing. These are all close enough to Columbus to enjoy a fun filled day trip. You can also get some good package deals if you want to make it a weekend getaway. I'm not an avid skier, however I love to watch and I really enjoy some of the lodges. Several of the lodges have entertainment and different events throughout the winter to enjoy. And I always love sitting around the fireplace in the lodges and listening to the crackling sounds of the wood burning while sipping a yummy drink. ![]() So, let's go exploring and check out the Ohio Ski Resorts.
