Mad River Mountain Ski Resort

Mad River Mountain Ski Resort has expanded their facilities to give you more fun in the snow! Their newest addition is the New Avalanche Tubing Park.

With the $2,500,000 expansion completed in 2006, let's take a look at the features you'll find here.

Features

The New Avalanche Tubing Park features ten chutes that are 900 feet long each, two 450 foot carpet conveyor lifts, outdoor fire pit with seating, new tubes, and the Timberline Lodge with dining and restrooms.

There are 23 trails with different skill levels:

   -  The easiest trails: Discovery Beginner Area, Summit Trail, Fanny Hill Beginner Area, Sundowner Family Comfort Zone, and Valley View.

   -  Trails that are a little more difficult: Lower Mad River, Regulator, Upper Sidewinder, Lower Sidewinder, Short Cut, Twister, Eagles Nest, and Deer Run.

   -  Trails that are most difficult: Drop Out, Peril, Sugar Bush, Cross Cut, Upper Mad River Run, and the Chute.

   -  Trails for the experts: Chute Glade and Sidewinder Glade.

   -  Terrain Parks: Zero G, Launch Pad, and Upper Flight Deck.

They are located at 1000 Snow Valley Road, Zanesfield, Ohio between Marysville and Bellefontaine, Ohio, 53 miles from Columbus.
