Kalahari Waterpark Resort - The Largest Ohio Indoor Water Park

The 80,000 square foot Kalahari Waterpark Resort in Sandusky, Ohio will more than double that square footage with the 93,000 square foot expansion to be added by the end of 2007.

Already the largest Ohio indoor water park, you can boogie board or stand up surf 365 days a year. You can also plan your birthday party there!

There's fun for all ages. With zero depth entry the little ones can play all day long while you relax at the whirlpool spa.

The FlowRider lets you stand up and surf or boogie board on 50,000 gallons of water which creates ocean like waves. This really gives you that "tides up" feeling.

The Zip Coaster takes you through 500 feet of dips, free falls, and far out turns at speeds up to 20 MPH. Rushing through the flumes and closed in tunnels with gushing geysers makes you feel weightless. What a trip!

Crocodile Cove features a 3,000 square foot activity po0l for basketball, water walking, or just splashing around. Surrounded by water cannons, you'll get a cool blast when you need it.

Lazy River lets you relax and glide down the river amoung the waterfalls. Or you can relax in the hot tubs, inside or outside.

Leopard's Lair is packed with slides, water guns, and more surrounded by a 3,000 square foot pool, while the Swahili Swirl twirls you around and round and sweeps you away through a 400 foot tube slide.

Victoria Falls takes the family on a raft slide trip, then you can pop over and slip slide away on the Wild Wildebeest.

Let the Zig Zag Zebra shoot you twisting through the body slides then zip up to 40 MPH through the Zimbabwe Zipper spiral flume.

The outdoor park offers bungalows, slides, pool, shuffleboard courts, and sand volleyball courts. You can relax and sun bathe on one of the expanded decks or take a dip in the pool.

The 93,000 square foot expansion planned for the winter of 2007 will feature a transparent roofing system allowing natural sunlight in. Other features include:
