German Village Oktoberfest

The German Village Oktoberfest is noted as one of the top 100 events in North America. The village is quaint and charming with super friendly people.

Schmidt's Restaurant stepped forward in 2009 and sponsored the celebration. Schmidt's ran the festival for approximately ten years before the Society took over.

Date: September 24 - 26, 2010

Location: Ohio State Fairgrounds, Columbus, Ohio

Authentic German food, beer and wine will be served throughout the festival. It's the best German food around!

Over fifty bands will perform throughout the festival on 3 stages. You'll hear everything from polka to rock.

The Marketplatz will showcase fine arts and crafts.

The Kinderplatz is a great activity area for kids.

You'll find many activities and fun things to do including a Cornhole Tourney.
