Fort Rapids Water Park Resort has an awesome "old west" theme with over 60,000 square feet of fun for everyone!
Inside the Waterpark
Your journey at begins through a mineshaft that leads into the waterpark where you splash and slide around. The wall murals surrounding the indoor waterpark come to life with water scenes and statues.
Once you're at the top of the 40' high tower slide, you can choose from four different fund and exciting waterslides.
Raging Bull and Ambush Alley are tube slides that loop out the side of the building and back in!
The Black Out Pass spins you around and around as it takes you outside the building and back in again and shoots you into the lazy river!
Grab a mat and hit the Shoot Out Racer for a ride that takes you out and back in the building for your race downhill!
The Rascal Roundup is a 40' water play structure in the middle of the waterpark. You can choose a slide or shoot water cannons at your buddies! Beware... the tipping bucket dumps 1,000 gallons of water each hour!
Take a ride down Cowboy Creek... go over the mini rapids or under the tumble bucket... but hang onto your hat! As you round the last bend the waves shove you to the exit!
The Kiddie Korral has two small slides and small play structures great for "little ones."
The Activity Pool is 4' deep and features a snake float, 5 basketball hoops and the "Perilous Promenade."
The30 Person Hot Tub, (yes...that's huge!) is for guest 18 and older.
Activities and Fun Outside the Waterpark
Just outside the water park, you'll find:
- Virtual Championship Golf or Virtual Bad Lands Bowling
- Old Tyme Photography - be a southern belle, Civil war soldier, or an outlaw!
- Cold River Mining - pan for gold and some cool gems and fossils.
- Need a tan? You can get a UV Free tan as well as regular tans.
- Tattoos! Yes, great looking tattoos... but not to worry, they're airbrushed and fun!
Dining at Fort Rapids Water Park
DB'S Sidewinder Cafe is close to the waterpark and features pizza, fries, hot dogs, popcorn and more.
The Branding Iron Grille (open to the public also), is a full service restaurant. They serve some unique Southwest and Old West food. The "Tostada Salad" is scrumptious! You'll also find seafood, steaks, pasta and more. Outside dining is available in nice weather.
The Canyon Cafe serves specialty drinks and some yummy treats such as fruit smoothies and muffins. My favorite drink is the Starbuck coffee, one hazelnut latte' with cinnamon sprinkled on top please! :-)
Enjoy a cold beer, glass of wine or cocktail at the Copper Star Saloon. Decked out in western chic decor, you can also enjoy appetizers while you relax.
