It is an outstanding example of the Cemetery Beautiful movement which transformed the concept of the church graveyard into the Victorian park-like landscape setting of monuments and markers. Here nature, fraternity, philosophy - concepts of the movement - combine with the natural terrain of the land to complement unusual monuments and landmark mausoleums. The 1902 chapel, designed by Columbus architect Frank Packard features mosaics and windows by the Tiffany Studios. There are 1000 stories about who is buried here - just one of them is about why Frank Packard did not design an Arts & Crafts mausoleum for himself.
