Columbus Halloween fun is just around the corner. What are some of the fun things you can see and do? You'll find plenty of fun things for the kids and adults listed below.

McDonald's Greenhouse Corn Maze

Can you defeat the five acre corn maze? Ah haa.... Come join the fun and try it! You'll also find a huge sand box, hay wagon rides, lasso a longhorn, cute baby farm animals, and choose a cool pumpkin!

You even get to go home with a pumpkin roll or caramel apple and fresh apple cider!

The season runs from the last weekend in August until Halloween. Fall hours are:

MAiZE at Little Darby Creek

Get lost in the Haunted Maize at Little Darby Creek. They have an awesome amount of kid's activities and you'll meet the nicest people around!

Creepside Festival

Put on your costumes for this spooktacular event that's fun for the whole family! The Department of Parks & Recreation hosts this annual FREE event that includes a Trick-or-Treat Trail, games, hayrides, music, blood drive, and much more.

Magician Stephen Knight Will Wow Crowds with Halloween Production -
Magic of the Night

Magic of the Night is Illusionist Stephen Knight's annual Halloween magic show featuring illusions, lights, music, and special effects. An original production filled with chills and thrills for the whole family, Magic of the Night is inspired by the traveling midnight ghost shows of the 1930s-1960s.

Beginning in 2006, audiences in Columbus have marveled at the wonders happening live on stage right before their eyes. The show evolves each year, with new magical sequences, updated special effects, and other surprises.

Magic of the Night contains NO blood or gore - it's just good, clean, haunted Halloween fun for the entire family.

Boo at the Zoo

Columbus Halloween Fun times to be had at the Boo at the Zoo. You'll get treats rides, and lots of kid's activities...and...

This delightfully haunting Halloween celebration offers appearances, shows and meals with from Iron Man, Spiderman, Captain America and the Green Goblin, candy stations, magicians, a haunted train ride and other thrilling Halloween activities...

Shows: "Operation Green" show featuring Iron Man, Spiderman, Green Goblin and Captain America on Friday at 7:20PM; 5:20PM and 7:20PM on Saturday and Sunday.

Tickets for lunch with Iron Man, Spider Man, Captain America and the Green Goblin will be available for purchase soon.

Activities include:

   - Treat stations sponsored by local businesses and organizations (open 5PM on Friday, 10AM on Saturday and Sunday)
   - Special activities for children at Habitat Holloween.
   - Special rides and attractions (for an additional cost) including the Creepy Hollow Express, SCAREousel and the Scarecrow Cruise.
   - An Endangered Species Graveyard teaching guests about many of the animals in danger of extinction.
   - Reptile Keeper Lab
   - Touch Pool
   - Diving demonstrations

12th Annual Pumpkin Smash at Boo at the Zoo

Don't miss the Pumpkin Smash Boo at the Zoo, when the animals will be presented with pumpkins as part of the Zoo's enrichment program.
Dates: The first two Saturdays and a special Halloween enrichment on October 31.

Haunted Statehouse Tours

Stroll through the vaulted passageways and haunted marble halls by lantern light in the 146 year old Ohio Statehouse.

You'll find a reincarted relic room with the legends and spirits of the Statehouse past.

Tall yarns spun with facts will come to life right before your eyes as you're guided by people wearing strange costumes carrying oil lamps.

Don't hold your breath... the tour lasts for forty minutes... breathe... breathe... breathe...

All Hallow's Eve

Look out for the Headless Horseman! Come join the Columbus Halloween fun at this 19th Century Halloween celebration!

You'll find a children's activity area, Halloween traditions, fortune telling, a Museum of Oddities, games and crafts are among the many activities featured this evening. A reading by the bonfire of Washington Irving's Legend of Sleepy Hollow and an appearance by the infamous Headless Horseman finish this fun-filled evening. Refreshments are available for purchase.

Admission: $12/adults, $9/youth (ages 6-12), $10/ Ohio Historical Society adult members, $7/OHS youth members, $4/parking fee for nonmembers

Delaware NNA Ghost Walk 2009

A night of mystery & intrigue: Hear spooky stories at the Delaware Arts Castle. James Willis, author of "Weird Ohio" shares hair-raising tales. Guides take you on an hour walking tour through Delaware's Northwest Neighborhood to hear about the paranormal activities and histories of century old homes. Visit the old jail, and tour the cells below. See a post-tour scary movie at the Strand Theatre. $15 in advance, $20 at the door. All proceeds benefit charity.

Halloween Pet Parade

The Halloween Pet Parade, sponsored by the Capital Area Humane Society, is a fun event that encourages participants to dress up their pets in festive Halloween costumes. The event, which is in its ninth year at Easton Town Center, raises money to help the abused, abandoned, and homeless animals of Central Ohio. Awards given include Best, Scariest, and Funniest Costumes.

Fright Night 5K Run

Join hundreds of ghosts and gobblins at the second annual Fright Night 5K on Saturday, October 31st at 8pm. You're sure to enjoy this unusual night of goulish exercise as you run (or walk) past haunted graveyards leading to the specially lite Gahanna Golf Course. You will run along the well paved cart paths and return back to the beautiful Creekside Park and Plaza Old Gahanna for a little post race food andf beverage. No whimps or scardy cats!

High Ball Halloween

A cross between Carnivale and Mardi Gras with a pinch of Halloween and a healthy splash of the Short North's artistic spirit.
