Columbus Bed and Breakfasts - Garden Manor Bed and Breakfast

The Garden Manor Bed and Breakfast was built in 1895 for a doctor's office and residence and it is listed on the Columbus Register of Historic Properties. In the 1940's it was used as a Bed & Breakfast for visiting African American musicians who played the famous jazz clubs on Mt. Vernon Avenue and Long Street. In 1974 it was the home of the Garden Manor Cultural Arts Center.

The Garden Manor Bed and Breakfast currently offers three beautiful rooms (with a fourth in the construction stages). A 40' glass walled conservatory opens to the terrace and formal gardens, featuring a pond, tea house and guest house. The Dining Room ceiling is mahogany beams with original leather tooled insets. And there are so many more beautiful features.

The German Village Guesthouse located in the historic German Village was renovated in 2005. The mix of historic architectural and modern details make these rooms very unique bring in a decor of crown moldings and detailed woodwork, exposed brick walls and hardwood floors and much more. The landscaping is beautiful and surrounds a relaxing deck and patio. Fireplaces can be found indoors and outdoors.

The German Village Guesthouse is a short walk from all the attractions in German Village and a one minute drive from downtown Columbus. There are three rooms each with a private bath and two luxuriously appointed suites with private baths. The rooms have shared access to the kitchen, library, living and dining areas and the garden. Neil Avenue Bed and Breakfast was built for A. L. Conklin, a furniture tycoon, in 1893. It has since been restored and is a beautiful historic home located in Victorian Village.

Columbus Bed and Breakfasts - House of the Seven Goebels

The House of the Seven Goebels is warm and inviting while taking you back in time to the 1700's. This B&B is a genuine replica of a Connecticut River Valley Farmhouse constructed in 1780. Complete with colonial materials and style from hand-split shaker roofing to the exterior doors with wooden latchen and Indian bars. The windows are twelve over twelve lights with doubles sashes that have twelve panes each. The pine shiplap floors are attached with square cut nails. The shutters in the windows have wood hinges and the cabinets and interior doors and latches throughout are handmade.

Two guest rooms each have queens sized canopy beds with private baths and a fireplace. Breakfast is served on the outside stone patio when weather permits or in the front dining room. In the winter months you may enjoy breakfast in front of the fireplace. This is a very unique Bed and Breakfast!
