The Central Ohio Folk Festival

The Central Ohio Folk Festival is sponsored by the Columbus Folk Music Society. It is a three day festival in a gorgeous park setting that has a very high caliber of workshop instructors and talented main stage performers!

This will be the 13th year for the teaching and performing fest for acoustic and traditional instruments and music.

Dates: May 1 - 3, 2009

Location: Battelle-Darby Creek Metro Park - 1755 Darby Creek Drive, Galloway, Ohio

This year's primary performers are and Butch Ross, Kitty Donohoe and Matt Watroba.

Friday night starts off with Meet and Greet and Registration at 6PM. There will be a potluck supper, World's Worst Song Contest and Jam sessions.

Saturday morning starts off at 8:30AM. Featured are Workshops for instruments, music, and other folk arts, Spotlight Concerts, Young Musician's Showcase and an evening concert at 7PM.

Sunday starts off at 10AM with a Gospel Sing. Workshops and Spotlight Concerts starts at 11AM. From Noon to 3:50PM, it's Sunday in the Park for families.

Closing Song Circle starts at 4PM and ends with a campfire jam session.
